This year was the fist time that I put together a Haft Seen table. it was fun going around town to specialty markets and crafting stores to get the whole table together. As i get older i find myself wanting to get in touch with my heritage. by Sharing these special and fun parts of our culture with my boys im hoping it will resinate with them what it means to be Persian. I want them to be just as proud of being American born as having roots that reach to a culture rich with art, poetry, amazing food!

Happy Persian New Year!
