The boys and I explored the Travel Town Museum this past weekend with some close friends and family. This was our first time there, our first stop on our explore LA spring break tour for the boys and it was magical! The kids were enamored by the larger than life size of the locomotive cars. Since the boys are so tiny in comparison to the trains it made their experience that much more exciting. One of their favorite areas to play around on was on the tracks, jumping on and off of the railings. They fell a lot, but no complaints. A great spot for baby and toddler and big kids too (That's what Dean refers to himself as)!
At Travel Town Railroad, you travel around the Travel Town Museum two times on the miniature train! We went on twice, once at the start of our visit and once right before we left. I especially loved the last train ride, mostly because I got a break from running after Hunter. He went from drunken walker to advanced sprinter overnight! The boys enjoyed the second go around too, they liked switching up who they sat next to. The tickets were $2.50 per rider, and can be used for all the Griffith Park Train Rides and park locations.
The kids had a wonderful time exploring and poking around all the old time railroad locomotives and cars!
