TURMERIC GINGER SPICE ROASTED RADISHES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. radishes (any kind)

  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 2 Tbsp Avocado oil

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp of each: cumin, coriander, turmeric, ginger, garlic

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start off by pre heating the oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Next clean the radishes, then cut them into quarters.

  3. Now, mince the garlic and set aside until needed.

  4. Next, place the radishes onto a sheet pan, toss in Avocado oil and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Now, to make the spice mix combine 1 tsp of each spice mentioned above, give it a mix and sprinkle 2 tsp of the spice mix over the radishes. Give it one big toss and place in the oven for 30 minutes, tossing once half way through cooking.

  6. Next, remove the radishes from the oven and toss in the minced garlic, give it a mix and let roast for another 5-10 minutes.

  7. Remove and plate! Enjoy on its own or with a side of yogurt dill sauce and hummus!
